AYNSLEY:
A pretty good morning overall: Mom walked with her physical therapy aid and even rode the bike for seven minutes. Her appetite was strong and she had some nice visitors. But Mom has been on oxygen almost constantly, which helps her be more comfortable and keeps her blood oxygen levels acceptable, but it's annoying and scary. She sounds weaker on the phone, and I hear the hints of frustration and fear in her voice. Though all of the scans and tests came back clear, it leaves us without a reason for her feeling this way and for her oxygen levels to be low. Not knowing is hard.

And to make matters worse, Mom coughed up some blood tonight. The staff at the Kline insisted she go back to Urgent Care to get it checked out. My parents both protested that they were there all day yesterday and they ran all of these tests, but the Kline insisted, so they're on their way.
